The Barber of York!

Neither the barber nor his shop are real. This site is set up to demonstrate the feature and benefits of todays electronic calendars. This site and calendar was created using Google Apps which is a set of online tools that can be customized you any particular need. Go to the cloud of York for more detials. Feel free to make as many appointments as you like to see how it works. Don't worry, there is not really any "Barber of York" that I know of.

How this site was made: The main feature of this site is the new Google calendar sheduling feature which you can find out more about here.

Making appointment slots creates a view of your calendar like you see in the main window to the right. It's a long awkward URL that you'll see when you creat or edit your appointment slots.

Notice that what you see here to the right within this page is itself the whole calendar page for other folks to use to make appointments. I've embedded it into this Google "Site" in order to be able to give more context since what you get is pretty simple and not much explaination.

Also you may have noticed the "ofYork" logo in there with the calendar. This is in place of the regular Google Calendar logo you would normally get. You can replace such Google branding on most of the Google online tools like calendars & email by starting a Google Apps account.
